Dr. Sharon Tice is a graduate of East Lansing High School and Michigan State University - a Spartan through and through! She graduated from the Wayne State University of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. She is board certified in pediatrics and she is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Tice has a lifelong interest in missionary medicine and each year takes medical teams to the Zulu area of South Africa. Her free time is spent sailing on Lake Huron and trying to improve her golf game.
Dr. Jaime Durante DNP, FNP-C is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who worked with Dr. Tice and Dr. Hirsch during her pediatric training. Dr. Jaime received her doctorate in nursing from the University of Michigan, Flint. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse for thirteen years-eleven of those in a busy emergency room. Her special clinical interests include preventative care, asthma, antibiotic resistance and childhood obesity (she also has a degree in exercise physiology from CMU). Jaime is married with two young children. She enjoys jogging, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Angie Rector earned her medical degree at Wayne State University and completed her pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. Angie is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a Novi High School graduate and loves working in her hometown. In her free time, Angie likes to hike, read, complete puzzles, and spend time with her family. She loves working with the children and families of Twelve Oaks Pediatrics through all the exciting surprises and challenges of growing up.
Dr. Oska-Gerak is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Oska-Gerak completed her undergraduate education at Wayne State University and her medical studies at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Carla did her pediatric residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak where she also served as chief resident. She has been in private practice for eight years since finishing her residency. Dr. Tice first got to know Dr. Oska-Gerak when they served together on a medical mission trip to South Africa. She is married to her college sweetheart and is the mother of three children. Dr. Oska-Gerak’s personal interests include cooking, weight-lifting, health and fitness, yoga and reading.
Ronia Berry, PNP-C is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Wayne State University specializing in primary care. Before obtaining her master’s degree, she worked as an RN at Children's Hospital of MI. She has always enjoyed caring for children and working with underserved communities. Ronia is married and has two young boys of her own. She enjoys walking her two dogs and spending time with her friends and family.
